- Has got in-built instant messaging system for use with Gmail/Jabber
- Channel chat allows viewers of same channel to communicate with each other
- On-demand TV allows you to select what programs you want to watch and when you want it
- Licensing agreement with many big production companies may mean exclusive content to be seen in future
Bad
- Need to register an account to use
- Not for people who want to watch international free-to-air channels

TVUPlayer
TVUPlayer is based on the P2PTV protocol. Operated by TVUNetworks, there are over 100 free-to-air and cable channels available from around the world. You can tune in to channels like Comedy Central, Sci-Fi, Fox News and many others.

- Hassle free set-up, no need to sign up for any account
- Easy to use and navigate around
Bad
- Video quality gets a little "crunchy" in full screen mode
A note: some people on the internet are trying to sell this free internet tv software when you can actually download it from tvunetworks for free. Shame on J.B and his ugly website (I'm not going to post his URL here to help him get additional hits).
Sopcast
Like man y free Internet TV applications, Sopcast is also based on the P2PTV protocol. There are over 100 free-to-air and cable channels available from around the world. You can tune in to channels like National Geographic, Discovery, and movie channels like Star Movies (see full list here http://www.sopcast.com/channel/)

- Works in LINUX!

- Small download size! Only 3 MBs.
- Can be embedded into web pages
- Can broadcast your own media
- Quality is pretty good in full screen mode
Bad
- Can be a little hard to navigate in full screen mode
